I am getting so excited for Peru. I submitted my paperwork the other day to get my passport. It should be here in about a week.
I need to focus on where I am going in 2009. There are many things I want to accomplish and I am not letting anything get in my way. There is a motto that my Pastor put forth and I believe I will adopt it as my motto for 2009. It is "2009 is mine". How great is that? 2009 IS MINE! I know God has many things in store for Jason and I and we are ready to accept them.
My life is not perfect and I certainly have things that I am working on but I know that with God by my side I can do anything. I will not let the weight of this world crush me. My spirit is lifted up by God. When I feel the world closing in, God takes my hand and helps me along.
I know I say this all the time but I am really and truly blessed. I thank God every day for my life and the people he has put in it. I struggle along sometimes but God and the people around me don't let me stay down for long. Amen to that.
I pray that your 2009 will be even more awesome than mine.
